Tom did an excellent job assisting us with a home purchase in a competitive market dominated by savvy San Francisco investors and other buyers. His partner Nada is also an agent and together they made a great team to get the job done for us.We met Tom and Nada over lunch (thanks for the lunch!) at a great little Italian restaurant. While pleasant, it was also a chance to get a sense of their personalities and style. It was clear they have many years of experience in the local market, and we had no difficulty deciding they had the right team temperament to see us through. They work hard, but are fun to work with too!When we found the right property, the stress really began - multiple offers here are the rule, not the exception. It was great to be able to shift some of that stress to Tom and Nada. Most importantly, he gave us quick and accurate responses addressing all of our concerns and questions, as the bidding process progressed. We were never left wondering what was happening. One big reason I selected Tom was his strong background in construction and landscaping. I knew renovations would be required regardless of which property we selected, and Tom was able to address my questions as we vetted various properties. Further, he knew the right people for well water, septic and other inspections, and even since closing escrow he has continued to help us identify contractors and other tradespeople we need. Finally, Tom and Nada hosted a client party recently, which really helped us connect with others in the community. We already met a couple who live down the road from us and I know this will help us adapt to life in a new town quickly. We are already looking forward to the next party!Tom and Nada have that special something that makes them more than business partners - they have become friends. We look forward to recommending them to anyone who is considering buying or selling in the future.
Tom is a true professional, a great resource and very knowledgeable about the Sonoma market whether you are seeking a condo, a multi-million $ property, short sale or other real estate.We reached out to numerous Realtors and did many property searches always to be stymied by indifferent Realtors, quick sales and other challenges. When we reached out to Tom he was very helpful, patient, responsive, accommodating, (since we were from out of town) and he was familiar with the Sonoma area having lived here many years. He was also knowledgeable about the short sale process, helped us get a good appraisal, arranged for an interim lease agreement and other quick move in needs. Our closing also took approx. 20 minutes!We would highly recommend Tom and the resources he brings and would utilize Tom again in Sonoma County in the future.
Tom is a wonderful Real Estate agent and a great guy as well!My Wife and I bought our first house 16 years ago using Tom and his outstanding knowledge and understanding of the Oakland Area so when we were looking recently for a house in Sonoma County and heard he was up there now we jumped at the chance to work with him again. We were delighted to find out that he knew so much about Sonoma county and really had done his homework on the particular areas we were looking into, he was of course responsive, diligent and as patient as ever. He never pressured us and always had very good insight and many helpful tips. We now have bought 2 houses (with many years in-between) with the help of Tom's expertise and have the highest opinion about him and real estate magic he can weave. Selecting the best real estate agent one can trust to handle your out-of-state business can be difficult, but in this case, it was easy. After speaking with several residents and leaders in the community it became clear that Ruth and Tom could fill that role. I had a very special situation which entailed selling the estate of a dear friend. I needed an agent that has expert knowledge of the local community and a track record for selling homes in a reasonable time frame at a good market price, has a ready list of names and companies who could help maintain, clean, repair, haul away trash, pack and move for me at reasonable prices, and could make this a seamless transaction, since I am 1200 miles away.Ruth and Tom did all this for me and more. They suggested a great selling and marketing strategy that worked immediately. When situations arose during the sale, they readily made themselves available to resolve the problem. When I asked them to help me to get someone and meet them to make repairs, clean, or haul, they were there. I did not have to worry or make costly trips back and forth for every little thing. What more could I ask? Well, there is more than that. I have made a lovely and long-term friendship with two very special people.I would highly recommend them and give them referrals for business.
